Summer Camp

Our private lessons include video analysis during the initial consultation and as needed during any follow up work. First lesson is an hour ($70) all others 40 minutes ($50).

All combination lessons are one hour  ($70) and consist of two skills of your choice.

Multi-player and small group work  is available with pricing determined by the number of players in the group. Call for details.

Our summer camp for ages 5-12 have been a staple in the area for the last 30 years. Located in Pine Bush and Cornwall annually.  

For  those of you new to Humnbird Summer, our camp design and format is  different than most. Our morning begins with a wide assortment of drills  skills and competitions designed not only to teach the game but involve  players in the learning of baseball skill. Our staff will guide players  in high energy activities designed to challenge players of all ability  levels. This in itself could serve as our camp but at Humnbirds we go a  step beyond. After the first day’s morning activities we hold our annual  weekly draft where we divide the entire camp into even teams, name the  teams and begin what has developed into a summer camp tradition, our  Weekly Camp Championship Tournament. This tournament (played after  lunch) is in round robin format with all teams regardless of record  qualifying for the Friday playoffs. We crown a weekly champ along with a  consolation game winner.  It is without question an exciting fun filled  set of games with the kids given basic rules for a fair batting order  and how to fairly let all players play a different position if they  choose. Where can you go to watch a game where the kids are running the  team! Of course our counselors are there to make sure our guidelines on  fairness are followed along with pitching and umpiring the games.
